4th session - Folding/wind fail

10th February session -

There was a struggle the whole time filming this session. We tried to emulate a dead body through using our bags, the bag for the tripod and a painting sheet.  As you can see through the failed attempt of Chris and Niro tryinng to fold the sheet back up at the end of the sequence, it was clearly a struggle. Overall, the session was good. I had my Jimi Hendrix time to shine, and we managed to start a chase scene. We had the odd acting-through-adlibbing issue of having to film me and Niro having an exchange however no script.

We have heeded the criticism and fed off the positive. To improve upon this we have altered the lighting in scenes where it was insufficent. I have stopped swearing at Chris and Niro over filming to get rid of the sound problem. To clear the story up we have actually changed the arrangement of scenes to give a Quentin Tarnitinoesque feel. Unfortunately we have not come up for a solution of the "skrrr" static sound in the background.

Sunday, 2nd February - Opening Scene Progression

Problems and on top of more problems seem to be stacking considering the rather unpredictable London weather. Unfortunately, due to the temperature being 5 degrees outside and our costumes not quite fitting the requirements for a cold London night, filming time had to be cut down. However, this time we had a good session as the cameras were actually charged and an extra light on deck. The light saved us from the seemingly ineluctable doom of Chris and I saying at the same time "It might be too dark." Extra shots were created out of next to nothing by the team and for that I consider today a productive contribution, prognosticating a cheer from Mrs Thrasher!

Backstage Bloopers 1

From the bloopers we have have analysed them, in order to learn from our mistakes that we have made. It has therefore made us more aware when filming scenes and improving our opening sequence overall.
